Implant Therapy
Are you missing teeth and don't want the enamel of neighboring teeth shaved away to construct a bridge? Do the clasps of your removable partial denture show when you smile? Is the denture loose making eating a chore? If so, you may be a candidate for dental implants. These are "bionic" roots made of sterile titanium (see arrow in illustration) that can be precisely placed into the area where teeth are missing. Your dentist will attach crowns to these implants in 3 to 4 months.
