David S. Greenfield, DMD
"Since 1968 when I first entered the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, I have maintained a continuous affiliation with the institution, as dental student, post-doctoral candidate in periodontology, specialty staff of the University Health Service & Faculty Group Practice, and currently Instructor/Lecturer on periodontal plastic surgery in the graduate and continuing education programs. Teaching remains an important part of my professional life, whether it is for dental students, visiting dentists from Europe and the Far East, my colleagues in general practice, or the patients in my office.

After more than thirty years of practice, I find periodontics more exciting and rewarding today than at any previous time. Some of the dramatic treatment corrections now routinely performed were not even "on the radar screen" when I was in training. In addition, since results are often so visually evident, I use my interest in photography to document and communicate with patients and doctors. Of course achieving fine results could not be accomplished without my loyal staff and a core of expert dental professionals in the community."

Maureen, hygienist
"I am a 1967 graduate of the Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists and received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Northeastern University in 1971. Since joining Dr. Greenfield's staff in 1977, there have been many exciting opportunities for hygienists in periodontics that have enabled me to remain enthusiastic about my profession. Additionally, I feel fortunate to be working with a caring and successful team that builds lasting relationships with our patients."

Ana, assistant
"I have been working in the dental profession for over 20 years, and with Dr. Greenfield since 1989. During these years I have noticed many technological and treatment advances which make my profession more satisfying.

What I find most rewarding is working in such a great environment and with a warm and caring group of professionals. As a result everyone benefits from it - most importantly our patients."

Deborah, office manager
"Prior to joining Dr. Greenfield's office I worked for a utility for seventeen years. That position provided considerable experience working with the public. Using my organizational and management skills, I strive to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently. It has been very rewarding working with patients who choose our services, rather than customers who are forced to, such as in the monopoly world of public utilities."

Rosemary, receptionist
"I have been working in the medical/dental field for over twenty-one years and with Dr. Greenfield since 1994. Working in this periodontal practice has enabled me to appreciate the hard work and effort that Dr. Greenfield and his team devote to the patients' needs and comfort. The professionalism and pleasant atmosphere of the office makes for a rewarding career."
